NanoSphere – History

NanoSphere was founded in July 2023 by Marija Petrovic, PhD. Originally conceived as a spin-off idea at the University of Geneva, NanoSphere began its journey in Switzerland, quickly establishing itself as a hub for delivering cutting-edge updates in nanomedicine and next-generation healthcare worldwide.

As a hub for knowledge sharing, NanoSphere empowers researchers and innovators by curating expert insights and delivering up-to-date information from academia, industry, clinical trials, business, and regulatory affairs in nanomedical field. From its inception, NanoSphere focused on nano-carriers, such as lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), and their applications in nucleic acids, proteins, peptides, antibodies, and ADCs.

The NanoSphere story began on YouTube, where the channel gained initial traction. It soon expanded to LinkedIn, where experienced tremendous growth and impact. As of January 2025, NanoSphere has reached significant milestones:
  • 200,000+ impressions on LinkedIn
  • 1,400+ followers
  • 170+ posts
